Gallium Solutions is a business-to-business consultancy helping small businesses with emerging technologies access federal government funding. The client lead works with the senior client lead to develop strategies to help our clients win government contracts then guides Gallium and Client team members to ensure the strategy is effectively executed. This position will also help with business development efforts.

Your role is to understand clients’ technical roadmaps in order to align them with relevant government opportunities. Among other tasks, you will oversee the Gallium team’s effort to identify opportunities and stakeholders; prepare and submit proposals; and manage ongoing contracts. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer relations, the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, and be familiar with government processes.

We're a 100% remote team hailing from across the United States. Candidates must be living in the U.S. with authorization to work. CONUS timezones are preferred. Candidates must be able to work full time (40 hours per week) with core work hours between 9-3 CST Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Be able to understand and communicate clients’ technology and business goals across a wide variety of fields
  • Assist in developing a government strategy that aligns with the clients' goals
  • Assist with marketing analysis and strategy for clients
  • Build business development process operations
  • Attend regularly scheduled and pop-up meetings with clients
  • Review identified opportunities and present them to clients
  • Collaborate with the proposal team to ensure timely submission of proposals
  • Conduct government-facing business development efforts to gain support for contracts and proposals
  • Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products
  • Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
  • Build relationships with key employees among customers
  • Act as point of contact for client needs and escalate issues as appropriate

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 2+ years experience as a Client Relations Manager, Relationship Manager, Sales Development Representative, Account Executive or similar. (B2B with a technology focus strongly preferred.). Will train a candidate with a technology development/commercialization background.
  • Familiar with government agencies, government processes or government contracting
  • Proficient in MS Office, ideally also with a working knowledge of CRM platforms
  • A customer-oriented attitude with the ability to creatively solve emergent problems

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, technical or a related field
